Anca Poterașu Gallery opens its autumn season with an anniversary exhibition marking 15 years since the gallery was founded.

The third landscape is what appears where form is not prescribed in advance.

In 2009, the gallery began as Little Yellow Studio, in an improvised space on Aristizza Romanescu Street. In 2011, it moved to Plantelor Street and, later, to the house at 26 Popa Soare, where it is located today. None of its present form was planned from the beginning.

Looking back, that initial, marginal and undefined interval can be understood as "a third landscape": an open terrain in which something can emerge before it is named.

The exhibition brings together works by:

Aurora Kiraly, Iosif Kiraly, Matei Bejenaru, Anetta Mona Chisa, Ioana Cîrlig, Iulian Bisericaru, Delia Popa, Megan Dominescu, Dragoș Bădiță, Oana Coșug, Sebastian Hosu, Mihaela Moldovan, Doina Simionescu, Adelina Ivan, Decebal Scriba, Yasmina Assbane

as well as a film by Oana Coșug, Andrei Botnaru and Cristian Plămădeală.

And on 17 October, from 5 PM, we will meet again at the gallery for an anniversary party celebrating 15 years of Anca Poterașu Gallery.

The exhibition is part of the project “Al Treilea Peisaj. Under the Plane Tree”. The project is co-financed by the Municipality of Bucharest through ARCUB within the “București în premieră” 2026 programme.
