Saturday, May 14th, 2022 Cinema Elvire Popesco, Bucharest between 5:30 - 5:40 pm. Artists from all over lately find a place around nature, which they transform learning from nature, where they align themselves with other time-measuring instruments, they reorder the artistic concepts they work with, they relativize the distances to the city and open possibilities of collaboration with neighbours, with other artists, with non-human species. Drained by a global pandemic and a nearby war, we will seek forces to synchronise for a few minutes, on the 14th of May, with several artistic spaces that are connected to nature. We will be able to see a short recorded transmission of a collective performance with feet on the ground, an affirmation of a type of inhabiting nature without colonising it, an invitation to rethink artistic work on more sustainable basis, an acceptance of the fragility of existence as a reason to plant life around us. The video recording is presented in the One World Festival Romania, before the screening of the movie Soy Libre. Tickets and the program of the festival are available here. *The title is borrowed from Poem V in the Ailanthus series, by V. Leac.
